An update!

Hello all! I though it would be a good idea to start sharing some of the updates that I released on KickStarter so that you can get a better idea of what Ive been up to to bring the book to life. So here’s the first update I posted after successfully funding my debut novel on 13th May 2025…

“Dear all,

Thank you so much for your faith and support (I think you’ll have gotten an automated message from KickStarter already) but it felt very important to stay up late and write a proper thank you note quickly before I go to bed but I promise I’ll try and keep this brief. 

I have been really blown away by the incredible amount of support and generosity you’ve all shown for my campaign, from getting fully funded in 66 hours, being selected as a ‘Project We Love‘ and then smashing through all of my stretch goals this experience has been incredible. And it has given me a lot faith that people do want to read my work in general and this book in particular! Each and every single pledge means the world to me, and I’m very grateful for your investment in me and my debut novel EVERYTHING NOT SAVED.

Now that the campaign has closed I can focus on the next step in our journey, and I am very excited to begin work on pulling together all the finishing touches to change my manuscript into the finished book e.g. getting it typeset. I am already working away on some very exciting developments on the unabridged audiobook (and the other stretch goals but more on those later…)

Anyway, for now there will be a bit of a temporary hiatus from me for maybe a week or two while I work on tackling those finishing touches before I get back in touch, but please rest assured I will be giving lots of updates as I go! Including a super fun admin one in the near future which will explain how the Backers’ survey will work and why I’ll need you lovely people to complete it (it’ll tell me all the essential info I need on where to send your rewards and the name you want added to the Backers’ section).

And no, I’ve never been great with brevity so I’ll just wrap this up for now with a massive thanks!
